As Internet is the most common tool to access information on any topic under the sun, I searched on the net and found
http://www.dayoutdubai.com/prod-14-9-amazing-musandam---day-out-in-dibba.html for booking my
musandam tour. I received a call promptly as I made the online reservation. I was given the details for pick up. I got ready, with my brand new camera, boarded the vehicle and started my trip to the mesmerizing Musandam . The scenic drive lasted for one and half hour with photo-stops en-route at the Friday Market and in the Masafi mountains area. The colourful mountains along the street was enigmatic
After crossing the checkpoint I arrived at the Dibba harbour and boarded a traditional Arabian wooden Dhow. It was a cool morning and the crystal like waters of Musanadam and the chilly wind made me feel elated and I sat on a Bedouin style pillows and carpets sipping Arabic coffee and tea. I was busy zooming my camera to capture picturesque beaches and fishing villages that dot the coastline.
It was one of the rare moments of complete symbiosis with the Nature, touching the elements so close, Complete chill out - soak up in the sun, take in the scenery, the sight of water made me energized I swam gently on the warm waters.
I could spot many of my co passengers with snorkelling mask on their face and flippers on legs taking plunge down the crystal clear watersand trying banana boat ride, I didn’t join them but observed them curiously and moved to try fishing, one of the nust do thing in the shallow waters, I did catch few lovely fishes but set them free because of its alluring charm. The boat ride lasted for few hours and I had a delicious buffet lunch on the dhow. After that we were taken to the traditional souks and the hamlet where the tourists got a chance to mingle with the folk untouched by the modern technologies of the world, I bought few lovely artifacts and joined my crew to comeback home putting a stop to the trip I was wishing if I could stay for long over there, but I have to come back. So I boarded the vehicle bidding farewell to the beautiful
Musandam.
